I just finished writing ✍️ my poem and converted it to a YouTube positive self help video. This is no joke! I wrote this after supporting a soul go through the worst journey of their life! So it was written in blood, tears, prayers and unimaginable heartache. None of my poems are AI scripted.
From this pain, God helped me “birth” a recovery plan for those struggling with addictions. The “hope” was this poem.
My Christian poem is about all possible means to quit addictions but still trusting God to do the part youcannot.

Many Christians today, are worrying about their 2026 finances. The cost of living is so high! But what if you knew that God had already paid off all your debts for life?
Rest in peace. God will take care of IT.
Think of the Bible Now think of GOLD Bind them together With heaven’s mould
The fusing of two Creates riches in Christ The GOLD and God’s Word Is heaven’s delight
This GOLD is of heaven It’s not found on earth It is rather for believers Who experienced new birth
The GOLD you carry Is unseen to man This GOLD is not currency That is visible on land!
Rather this GOLD is found in God’s heart Nobody can steal it As it is supernaturally marked!
It has “your” seal With your name engraved It carries your gifts As a believer that’s saved!
This gift is yours It has everything you need It is God’s GOLD to you That sets you free!
It doesn’t carry a burden like the gold found on earth This GOLD is divine And supernaturally birthed!
The gold on earth Creates bondage in man As it is always attached To physical plans!
God’s GOLD has no weight It is spiritually seen It comes from your CREATOR Who provides the unseen
Drop the heavy weights Your mortgages unpaid Your DEBT belongs to God Heaven’s GOLD is the way!
Money is bondage God’s GOLD is free Store treasures in heaven That set you free!
God fully pays off debts They all belong to Him The banks charge interest But “interest” belongs to Him!
God sets the conditions Not your contract signed on earth! GOD can do anything…. With everything! As He owns the whole earth!
Stop stressing about CONTRACTS That you can’t reverse God is “The Banker” Not the CEO on earth!
Store your treasures in heaven Where they cannot decay Your spiritual home is eternal It’s a house that’s all paid!
Think of one ministry That is a call in your heart This gift is from heaven, God’s GOLD from the start!
As you serve God Loving others like Christ These divine deposits will grow Your gifts will shine as a light!
These jewels cannot be stolen As they were deposited in Jesus’s name These actions will be recorded As they glorified God’s name!
Rather we think of keeping our family safe and our life safe.
We never imagine a day needing protection.
Why even have this thought?
I thought of “protecting my day” recently when I realised how many times, my day was ruined because of different things that happened.
I felt a sense of indignation and I realised I was in charge of changing the course of my day for better, even when certain parts of the day were ruined!
What if I watched more carefully for someone or something coming along to hurt my day and what if I consciously made better choices so I was less affected by life’s negative events?
What if I protected all the hours in my day, really carefully?
Even if the last two hours of your day have been dreadful, you still have the rest of the day, to improve things now. I am sure this is God’s will.

I can never imagine Him saying, “Make your day as worse as possible!”
Rather I can imagine Him saying, “Redeem the time, for the days are evil.”
No one has heard of putting a Band-Aid on “an hour”, meaning you are “covering” a slot of time with some sort of protection.
But what if you did, figuratively speaking?
Right now?
Don’t you sometimes hear yourself saying, “My day was ruined because….”
What if you did not say that?
But rather you said, “Some of the day was ruined but I still have a few hours left to improve things.”
If I decide to sit back and do nothing, I will let someone or something kill my day.
You cannot control everything that happens, but at least you can control your responses.
God wants you to control all your responses.
After all, who will, if you don’t?
We have a lot more control over rough days than we think we do.
Your day is your subordinate. You are the boss of it.
Choose the most beautiful paths in the worst possible circumstances.
If this path is only in your head, so be it.
God will be on this path in your head.
Talk to Him on this path. He is always there.
God said, “Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.” (Psalm 50:15)
Aim for better days every day.
Imagine a shield around “your day”.
Protect this God-given time as something very precious.
Harm will come to your day at times.
As if someone came along and stabbed your day!
But what if you realised that the day was not fully hurt?
Make the remaining hours, beautiful because God is with you right now.
I personally have written off so many days in the past because certain things weren’t going well.
Here I was acting as if someone killed my day 100% and was slowly killing me.
I was approving this day-killing even though the day was still alive and not finished yet.
Please don’t say, “Tomorrow will be better.”
Rather say, “I am going to make things better, right now!”
Why not say, “A lot of my day was ruined and the day truly hurt. But for the remaining hours, I am going to cherish them. What has not been hurt is still well. There are still a few hours left that need my love and protection. Good atomic habits for God, no matter how small, will help me improve my day.”
