Mind Your Mind

Daily writing prompt
Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

“If I wrote a blog post today Lord, what is the first thing that needs to come to my mind?”

What comes to my mind now, is the image above.

Jesus has His hand on the girl’s mind.

Why is this important?

It’s important because your mind is always speaking aloud in heaven!

Treat your mind as if it’s on God’s stage all the time. Because it is. God can hear all your thoughts.

If you heard your mind speaking aloud, the way God hears it, would you not mind, if in heaven, the mind conversation was recorded in full?

I can imagine Jesus saying, “My dear child, your mind is not muted, even for a second.”

Because of this fact, your mind is loud.

Really loud!

All the time.

But this is good to know.

Only because your mind is always on God’s stage.

This fact, helps you to think vigilantly.

Your mind is a “thinking” 24/7 performance, all on its own. But it’s not even aware of this!

But your mind of Christ is!

Imagine reading a big book in heaven about all your thoughts in 2025?

When I write these reflections, I am encouraged.

Only because you and I know that God is watching us think & live on a better new page right now!

As we think better thoughts now, (compared to hours ago when we perhaps got off πŸ‘£ track😊)we realise that everything will be OK.

My new thought goes like this, “I see my mind in Jesus’s hands. My mind is real to Him and it is also heaven’s place. God helps me think with the mind of Christ as I obey His Word.”

~Think like a child~

Please continue to pray for us.

We are very grateful for our church, their love, support and prayers. I am very grateful for my readers who come here from different parts of the world and also my WordPress subscribers who are writers too!

Our situation…..

My husband needs to find a new job as soon as possible.

His U.S.A. work company went bankrupt just recently. He is a Senior Software Developer.

I know God is watching me “trust Him in my mind” and this is far more significant than my husband finding a job!

Only because a relationship with God is more important than earthly resources.

God Is Invisible, You Are Not

Daily writing prompt
Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

Last night, I felt really distressed about issues with my teenager, and it felt like God wanted to comfort me. And He truly did comfort me!

What was He trying to teach me?

God is invisible and because we can’t see Him, it can be easy to “forget” His presence because we can’t see Him.

But it felt God was encouraging me so I knew I was never invisible to Him.

HIM seeing “me visibly” really encouraged me.

He always can “see me and you.”

We just can’t “see” Him seeing us 😊.

But He is always looking at us.

He is always looking at you.

Truly, truly.

I love the fact that God is watching me type this message about Him.

All humans are visible to God.

He always “sees us”.

He won’t forget us.

Seeing is POWERFUL.

Faith is HARD.

I CAN’T SEE God, but He sees me right now and always.

This really encourages me as His invisibility doesn’t make Him less powerful, a less of a God, less able to help, less loving and less present.

He IS a spirit.

“For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” ( John 4:24)

He is really really really really with me and knows my struggles with my child and gets it!

God is truly visible.

But we are the ones who cannot see Him. Yet.

Our spiritual eyes are closed. For now.

But, if you think about it, you would surely freak out if you saw Him and you would die.

God doesn’t want you to die just yet!

God said no man can see my face and live!

“But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.” (Exodus 33:20)

So, yep, I get it….

But it still does hurt praying to an invisible God.

I really want to see God’s face all the time.

I want to see His changing expressions and the concerned look that says, “Helen, I really hear you and I know raising teenagers is hard but I will help you.”

Jesus said, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:20)

“With you”, means right now!

That’s a good πŸ‘ fact to dwell on.

Funny thing…As I am just typing this, I hear a lady talking about God at the other table in this cafe.

I love ❀️ this because other people out there are thinking of Him too.
