“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” John 16:13

You can never go wrong by using your spiritual noggin, after preparing physically!
Naturally you would already prepare for physical emergencies the human way.
But what is often missed in emergency-prep, is preparing your soul.
How would that look like then?
- Pray to God today and ask Him to help you prepare even now for that emergency that will happen. He already knows every single future emergency that will happen on planet earth. With His hindsight that is always there even before emergencies happen, He is the best equipped to prepare you.
- Make sure you are comfortable with God now. Make sure you are comfortable with God now. Repeated twice on purpose! How can you suddenly be comfortable with calling on a God in an emergency, when you never pray under normal circumstances?
- Make sure that the state of your soul is right with God and man, all the time. When this happens, any physical emergency will look entirely differently. Only because you prepared the most important part of your self. Your soul. A strong prepared soul who knows their God is faithful, will endure an emergency well, even if it’s only a physical one.
- Never prepare for an emergency when the emergency is happening. It is too late then. Do you know how I prepare for emergencies? I regularly pray that God goes ahead of my family and I. I pray that He ALREADY provides help, even for events that haven’t happened yet! What does that even mean? It means that God knows the emergency is going to happen, and orchestrates events prior to the event, so that everything will turn out OK.
- Make sure you have accepted Jesus into your heart before any emergency happens. If you haven’t yet, pray and do it now. Only because today’s emergency may be your last! This one you may be never coming back from!
Once your soul-is-well, the “physical emergency prep work” will sing. Yes, literally! Only because God Himself never experiences emergencies and you don’t need to either. It’s simply changing your perspective to the way God sees things. When you do, this helps to greatly reduce fear as He already knows.
He already knows.
