When we don’t desire God, our daily habits change….
For me personally, I find that praying and seeking God daily, is a habit that I never forget. He is so deeply ingrained in my soul that to forget Him would be unimaginable.
God allowed me to get to a state of total dependence on Him during my weakest most difficult moments, and when these moments passed, He still reminded me of Him even in good times!
He knew that if I stopped desiring Him during my daily habits, there would be no other place to go but myself.
Losing the desire for God, then opens my own doors that are fully bound to earth, doors that lead to nowhere, doors that lead to empty rooms and doors that never fill me once I open them.
I know that if I desire God in all my daily habits, life greatly improves, not because anything changed externally but rather because God saw my desire for Him, and He reached out and desired me too!
In this unified desire for each other, God and his child, experience a unity that can never be experienced by one who never desires God.
To desire God always, is a pure child like desire with no ill side effects. Because this desire is good, it leads to pure outcomes.
We never need to limit our desire for God.
This desire is the only “one” that radically changes your daily habits.
Desire God.
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37)
There is no greater desire than this.
Help me God to desire You the most.
