Today at work, I met my beautiful client at the beach.

We took her two delightful sausage dogs for a walk on the sand.

While I was waiting for our hot drinks to be made up at the local cafe, a message popped up uninvited! Without my prompting….

It was Meta AI.

I don’t use AI but in this tiny window of opportunity, I decided to answer back.

It said, “What can I help you with today?”

I typed, “How to think positive?”

It happily 😊 waffled on with all these points below….

Thinking positively involves cultivating a mindset that focuses on the good, practices gratitude, and reframes challenges as opportunities. Here are some tips to help you think positively:

  1. Practice Gratitude: Reflect on the good things in your life, no matter how small. Keep a gratitude journal to write down things you’re thankful for each day.
  2. Reframe Negative Thoughts: Challenge negative self-talk by finding a positive perspective. Replace negative thoughts with empowering affirmations.
  3. Focus on the Present: Mindfulness helps you stay present and appreciate the current moment. Practice mindfulness meditation or deep breathing exercises.
  4. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Spend time with supportive people, read inspiring stories, and consume uplifting content.
  5. Take Care of Yourself: Regular exercise, healthy eating, and sufficient sleep improve your mood and energy levels.
  6. Practice Positive Self-Talk: Treat yourself with kindness, encouragement, and support, just as you would a close friend.
  7. Set Realistic Goals and Celebrate Achievements: Break down goals into smaller steps and acknowledge your progress.
  8. Practice Acts of Kindness: Doing good for others increases feelings of happiness and positivity.
  9. Learn from Mistakes: View failures as opportunities for growth and learning.
  10. Seek Professional Help: If negative thoughts persist, consider seeking help from a mental health professional.

Remember, developing a positive mindset takes time and practice. Be patient and consistent, and you’ll start to notice a shift in your thinking.

In a jiffy, all the above tips, came up express style!

As a Support Worker, it was a reminder that my job was more than just a paid one…I was to offer hope in season, out of season, to all my clients including myself.

This post I am publishing today will be read multiple times over, by you, new readers, myself and me again! And again. ❤️

I copied the above tips and passed them to the sausage dogs mum, my client.

It was a heart warming moment.

I realised today that everyone is struggling.

In a quiet place of reading the above tips, we stop struggling so much and find hope again and keep moving forward and struggle a little less.

This tiny pause is a step up.

It is just enough to correct any negative thoughts and implement at least one small positive change.
